Flowers Inspired by the Seasons Workshop - Saturday 7th June 2025

Please come and join me and fabulous flower farmer Fiona for a Floral Workshop inspired by the Seasons. Early June sees an abundance of eco friendly flowers growing at Fiona's farm as well as the stunning natural wildflowers in her meadow. Explore our eco theme and transform up-cycled jars and bottles into pretty flower containers, all of which are yours to take home, including a lovely selection of freshly picked flowers.

Our morning will start with a tour of our artisan flower farm. A perfect opportunity to understand the ethos behind how the flowers are grown and why more and more people are choosing to buy local. After tea, coffee and delicious home made cake, we will guide us through current floristry trends and demonstrate different floral techniques to decorate your home and outside space. You will then be let loose to create your own floral displays, with a choice of our up cycled containers.

When you are happy with your displays we will photograph them in and around the garden and field, exploring different settings to create beautiful images to showcase your work. We will discuss backdrops, props and composition and we will share how to capture your displays creating a work of art. Make sure you bring along your smart phone.

Please do bring your boots and raincoats just in case we have a shower.

This course is suitable for all levels and no experience is necessary.
