We would love you to come and join myself and fabulous flower farmer Fiona for a relaxing morning filled with an abundance of Dahlias! Learn how to create your own beautiful bouquet, using delightful Dahlias grown at Chiltern Sky Flowers.

We will begin our workshop with an exclusive guided tour around our flower farm. A perfect opportunity to understand the ethos behind how we grow our flowers and why more and more people are choosing to buy local. You will see how we harvest our Dahlias ready for local florists and floral designers. Find out which colours are on trend and why. We will discuss the best varieties of dahlias for cutting, when and where to cut to encourage longer stems and better blooms, as well as collecting seed and how to care for them through the seasons.

After tea, coffee and delicious home made cake we will then demonstrate how to create an inspiring bouquet, using Fiona's home grown dahlias, seasonal flowers and foliage. I'll be sharing some well-kept florists’ secrets, exploring finishing touches with ribbons, tissue paper, gift wrapping and floral boxes. All of which are yours to take home.

Please bring your boots and raincoats just in case we have a shower.

This course is suitable for all levels and no experience is necessary.
